Stephan Glander

Stephan Glander is a Ph.D. chemist who started his professional career at Bayer in the rubber division. After 4 years in Canada and 2 years in strategic planning for Bayer, he joined Quadrant AG in Switzerland in the area of plastics conversion. As COO of Röchling High Performance Plastics, Stephan was responsible for the composites and the medical business, before he served as CEO at BYK (specialty chemicals) from 2014 to 2019. Afterwards, Stephan held non-executive Board positions at Haniel (German family company) and Cidra (incubation company in CT) and also founded a start-up in the e-mobility field. Since 2023 he is CEO of Biesterfeld.
