Hans Augusteijn

Hans Augusteijn was appointed President of Stolt Tank Containers in January 2022. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the business, driving the growth, expansion and continuous optimisation of its global depot and transportation network and the services it provides to its customers.

As Executive Sponsor for India, Hans is the senior representative for Stolt-Nielsen in the region, providing support and guidance on the execution of the company strategy across all operations.  

From 2019 to 2022, Hans was Director of Strategy at Stolt Tankers, responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategy for the business. 

Before joining Stolt-Nielsen, Hans spent 17 years at Maersk in various leadership roles related to container shipping and logistics. He holds a degree in Logistics and Transport Management from the National Transport Academy, Venlo, and a Master's in business administration in Strategy, Marketing and Distribution from the University of Nijmegen. He is a Dutch citizen.
