Patrick Elie

Patrick ELIE is the Chairman of the Board and acts as Commercial Director for the Equilex group, a Chemicals marketing and distribution company based in Schiedam, the Netherlands.

With over 35 years’ experience, Patrick has held various functions with manufacturing and distribution companies in Sales, Product and Marketing management. Before starting Equilex, he worked as Sales manager and Marketing manager for ARCO Chemicals in Paris regional office covering products as such as Styrene Monomer, Glycols and Higher olefins. He also held a managing director position at Joss chemicals in Alkmaar, the Netherlands.

Patrick holds a master’s degree in Biochemistry from the Nantes sciences university (France). He holds a master’s in management from Nantes Business school and a MBA from ESSEC Business school in Paris. He lives in Aix en Provence.
